Phase 2 weight outcomes
In the dose-ranging phase 2 trial (n=338), the highest dose produced ~17.5% mean weight reduction at 24 weeks, with ~24% reported at 48 weeks — the largest pharmacological weight effects published to that date.
Metabolic endpoints
Phase 2 also reported HbA1c improvements in participants with type 2 diabetes and favorable changes in lipids and blood pressure across the dose range.
What phase 3 is testing
The registrational program (TRIUMPH series in obesity; parallel T2D and MASH programs) is testing whether the phase 2 signal reproduces at scale, and characterizing the safety profile that would support approval.
The honest frame
"Investigational with strong phase 2" is a real category — and it is not "almost approved." Efficacy signals that fail at phase 3 are common enough that this catalog reports, and waits.
